Best Place to Stay in Syracuse
Do not skip this location when visiting Syracuse, NY. Although it is about 10-15 minutes with traffic from downtown/SU, it is worth the short commute. From the moment you check-in, through your stay and at the time of check-out, you will experience customer service of a 5-star hotel. Skip staying at a chain hotel. The points you're earning aren't worth the trade for just being another number. At the Craftsman Inn & Suites you'll actually feel like a they care about your stay. Coming from Austin, TX, this place was a nice warm haven during a bitter-cold, snowy visit. Bonuses: beautiful fireplace, nice leather chairs, free coffee that's actually good and not burnt, (looking at you St**b***s), Adirondack chairs outside, local restaurant right next door with great steaks, ample parking. (The parking lot was cleared of snow and ice both days I was here.) TLDR/ 10/10 cx service, immaculately clean, modern rooms, and a homey-mom and pop feel through your whole stay.

Great place for an event

Hotel w/ fine dining restaurant attached.
Shaun the Director of sales was very accommodating to our company. We have a crew of men working in the area and Shaun is willing bring in other menu items, and offered a large carafe of coffee for the job site. Excellent staff

Always a Winner
I love to stay at the Craftsman, it's clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast has lots of options, and there is always free coffee in the lobby. Bonus is that the Craftsman Grill is right next door to the Inn. I have never had a bad meal there, it's a must.

Quiet and Relaxing
We often stay at the Craftsman when we have family holiday get togethers in Syracuse. It is a beautiful facility located one mile from my daughter’s house. It is clean, and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the morning breakfast is good.

Craftsman Inn in December
Recent stay at the Craftsman was great. The facility has improved dramatically in even the last three months since our last stay. Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. The breakfast in the morning (free) was very much improved as to quality and selections available. There were more prople around the front desk to assist with any need. Perfect place for a change of pace!
This inn feels cozy but not crowded, and makes a pleasant change from corporate cookie-cutter hotels. We had planned to stay one night, but with a snowstorm blowing in, decided to stay 2. A gem of a place
Nice and spacious room, the decor is Stickley so you know it's good. One of the quietest rooms I've ever stayed in. Staff was nice and friendly at all times. Bathroom was fine for a solo traveler (could be tight for two though). Breakfast is your generic style, decided to go out a couple times but it's fine if you don't mind. Definitely recommend the restaurant next door. Great food and a large selection of local craft beers. The place was busy every night (Mon-Thurs) when I was there. Wonderful Hotel
We have stayed at the Craftsman Inn & Suites several times when visiting our daughter at Syracuse. The workers are outstanding and so helpful. Rooms are clean and the continental breakfast is perfect. About a 15 minute drive to the campus. The restaurant is delicious. Love the outdoor fires. This hotel is charming.
